What does Yahoo fantasy level mean? ›

Ratings and Levels measure your performance against your opponents, based on your gameplay in Head-to-Head Leagues only. While the game is in season, it'll update each Tuesday for Football and every Monday for Baseball, Basketball, and Hockey.

Diamond - 900+ Rating and 99th Percentile. Platinum - 800-899 and 95th-98th Percentiles. Gold - 700-799 and 81st-94th Percentiles. Silver - 600-699 and 60th-80th Percentiles.

The column "Opponent Points Against Rank" ranks, from 1-32, how many Fantasy points the opponent has allowed during the season -- the lower the number, the more points allowed. In this example, Julio Jones is facing a Rams defense that allows the 21st most points against wide receivers.

Your rating is set in a range from 0 - 1,000, where 1,000 is the highest rating and 0 is the lowest.

Tiers are groupings of players intended to help with draft strategy. For example, in 2023 Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen and Jalen Hurts are commonly being ranked in the top tier of QBs, while Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson and Justin Fields may make up your second tier, and so on.

If a League is filled at the scheduled draft time but not all teams have paid the entry fee, the draft will proceed. However, all teams must pay by the deadline set by the commissioner or the Contest will be canceled.

To select a player, click on the "+" symbol in the Action column. If the player is a Free Agent (available immediately) the button will be green. If the player is on Waivers (must be claimed) then the button will be yellow.
